Sustainable Port Training in Portugal under the Greenport Alliances Project

Prof. Dr. Taner Albayrak and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tutku Eker İşcioğlu, Head of the Department of International Trade and Business, participated in activities held at the Port of Aveiro, Portugal, on 17–18 June 2026, involving the implementation of the training package developed for sustainable port operations under the Greenport Alliances project. Throughout the event, the training activities and the participants’ learning processes were closely observed. The evaluations examined the coherence between theoretical training, simulator practice and field activities, as well as the suitability and clarity of the training materials and their contribution to developing participants’ technical competencies and operational awareness.
