Clean Seas Session

During the session held at Piri Reis University’s Environmental Information Center (EIC) on 16 May 2025, we discussed marine cleanliness with representatives of the University’s student clubs. The meeting also covered activities being carried out within the scope of the LEARN4SEA project, as well as potential activities to be organized in October 2025, the month in which the University began its 2025–2026 academic year.

We once again witnessed the commitment of the student clubs at Piri Reis University, Türkiye’s first and only maritime-themed university, to protecting our seas.

We agreed on the importance of raising awareness about our seas through strong and effective activities.
