Piri Reis University Takes a Pioneering Role in Sustainability with BREEAM Certificate

Piri Reis University has once again proven the importance it attaches to environmental sustainability and has been awarded the BREEAM certificate. BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is the world’s most widely used environmental assessment and rating system and evaluates the sustainability performance of buildings.

This certificate shows that buildings are designed and operated in accordance with sustainability principles in many different criteria such as energy efficiency, water saving, interior quality, material use and waste management. Piri Reis University has managed to build an environmentally friendly structure by prioritizing energy and resource efficiency in its buildings in the campus area.
