During the production at our university, if the animal fats, vegetable oils and grease mixed with the wastewater are sent to the wastewater installation without being subjected to any separation process, it is an inevitable result that the entire installation, starting from the wastewater installation in the facility and ending with the wastewater treatment plant, will be blocked. Because the oils, which have formed an unstable emulsion with water, begin to separate from the water in the pipes and stick to the pipe walls. In addition, the operation of the treatment plant is negatively affected and the operating cost increases. Therefore, it is important to separate oil from wastewater.
