Purification System

Gray water and rainwater treatment systems are used in our university. In gray water system and gray water recovery treatment systems, primarily filtration process is applied. Water passed through filters with fine pores is purified from all suspended solids such as hair, skin, nails and food particles. Then, a filtering process is performed again, soap, detergent and odor are removed and transferred to the other unit with minimum pollution. While biological treatment processes have been applied until this part, physical treatment processes are applied from now on. After this process, physical purification processes are carried out with the membrane system. Thanks to this system, pathogens such as bacteria, fungi and microorganisms are destroyed. Chlorination processes, which are chemical treatment methods, are applied to purify it from other remaining particles. As a result of these processes, purified water is obtained. In this way, gray water is recycled.
In addition, there is a rainwater system and a raised floor under the wooden floor, where rain and surface water collection systems are located. In addition, rainwater is collected in water tanks with the help of roof gutters and can be made ready for use with Rainwater Purification Systems. In buildings, this rainwater can be used in areas such as toilet cisterns, garden irrigation and car washing.
