Şirin Children’s Library Opens!

The Human Rights Club of Piri Reis University opened a library at Tuzla Osmangazi Primary School on 20 October 2025, with the aim of providing a library to a school that did not have one.

Named the “Şirin Children’s Library” to keep alive the memory of young Şirin, who lost her life as a result of violence, the library has become a source of hope for children with nearly 4,000 donated books.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to this effort.
