– Supporting research on topics such as environmental sciences, ecology, biodiversity, conservation of terrestrial ecosystems, prevention of biodiversity loss, and reducing the effects of climate change, as well as sustainability.
– Supporting research on sustainable agricultural practices, organic farming, food security, and waste reduction.
– Supporting research on green ports in maritime, shipyards, conservation of green areas, sustainable structural design, energy-efficient buildings, and green roof applications.
– Organizing activities to raise awareness among students, academics, local people, and other stakeholders on topics such as biodiversity, forest conservation, and the effects of climate change on terrestrial ecosystems.
– The university, in collaboration with environmental protection groups, will organize activities such as afforestation, preventing forest fires, and conserving biodiversity.
– The university will develop behaviors to adopt sustainable lifestyles in its operations (e.g., awareness training for local forest rehabilitation, developing new methods for biodiversity conservation, or creating ecosystems resilient to the effects of climate change).
– The university will develop collaborations for terrestrial ecosystem conservation in cooperation with local communities, local governments, and non-governmental organizations.
